You may remember Lotta Kühlhorn from April when we featured her HERE with the launch of From Sthlm. (she was one of your favorites)
Over the weekend, I was delighted to discover a whole lot of Lotta in the most unexpected place – in Stockholm’s own subway, the tunnelbana. What a bright surprise in what can typically be a pretty dreary place.

It’s all part of a series of art exhibits that change frequently in Stockholm’s T-bana stations at Zinkensdamm, Fridhemsplan and Slussen. According to the accompanying description, Stockholm’s subway may be the world’s longest art museum, with tours conducted by professional art guides every week. And all for just the price of a subway ticket. nice.
Lotta’s exhibition is called Rotkatalog, or “Root Directory.” The patterns are a play on her popular retro radish pattern. And if you look hard and don’t overthink it, you just may spot some more of your favorite root veg in there too.
