Pretty in pink

Our friends at 10 Swedish Designers have officially kicked off their Spring palette, and guess what? Hello PINK!

You may remember from when we featured Ten Swedish Designers in August that every year each of the three remaining founding designers contribute a new pattern to the collection.

Well this year they’ve taken a different tack. Each designer has brought back one of their simplest and best-selling patterns from their past and given it a modern twist. Dots, stripes and waves look fresh again dressed in pink and orange.

The change in approach this year is a nod to the company’s long history and the staying power of their contemporary patterns. This year the collective is an impressive 40 years old… complete with special tags to commemorate the anniversary and an Honorable Mention award from Formex.

Timelessness, consistency, courage and simplicity is what it says. Yep, sounds about right.
