Very cool! I did notice it on Google, but I will admit that I didn’t know who Josef Frank was. Looking closer at his use of vibrant colors, patterns, and curved lines, I should have KNOW he was Swedish all along :)
V – right?! But actually I should correct myself somewhat… though Frank was a Swedish citizen for 30 years and played a big part in defining the Swedish design aesthetic, he was actually born in Austria and had already made a fine career for himself in architecture there before emigrating to Sweden. So credit goes out to Austrian design as well- both countries can be proud to claim him!
