The Milan Furniture Fair 2010 may have finished up on the 19th, but attendants are only now starting to filter back into their offices as the ash clears and airports start reopening across Europe.
I was pleased to hear from several of my favorite new designers from the Stockholm Furniture Fair that they’d be going to the big tent in Milan. Exciting stuff, as no other event in this industry holds a match to this one
Of course we can’t all make it to Milan (I followed the excitement from the comfort of my home computer, thank you very much), so I wanted to introduce some of their work to you here.

First up… Keisuke Kawase. He may have been a student exhibitor, but I listed Keisuke’s Stanza bookshelves among my top picks from the Stockholm Furniture Fair for Dwell.com back in February. He’s currently getting his Masters of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at Sweden’s Konstfack University.

Keisuke’s Stanza bookcase is perfect for those who need storage for the items they’d like to display as well as those they’d rather hide away.

Simply swivel each of the vertical shelf dividers into the position you choose, et voila! A fully customizable bookshelf cabinet… and nobody needs to know how close at hand your stash of trashy romance novels really are.

Congratulations Keisuke!
