This weekend marks one of New York’s most exciting annual events, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. And this year Sweden will be well represented.
The Furniture Kingdom at ICFF

Don’t miss Green Design by The Furniture Kingdom (Möbelriket AB). The Furniture Kingdom is an association of furniture designers from southern Sweden that includes Lammhults Designgroup, Källemo, Bruno Mathsson, and Norrgavel among others. Green Design will be presenting innovative designs that are all about sustainability.

“The Knitted Chair” by Marie-Louise Hellgren. Exchangeable covers in a variety patterns are knitted in 100% ecological wool. It is a collaboration with Sätila, a Swedish company that has been producing hats since 1896.

Claesson Koivisto Rune Illuminated

May 18, 10 am – 5 pm, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
Henrik Otto, senior vice president of global design at Electrolux will be speaking during this full-day conference dedicated to the “good design is good business” philosophy.

May 18, 6-8 pm, Property, 14 Wooster Street
Design House Stockholm presents Swedish pieces at Property in SoHo, including chairs by Lisa Widén, pillows and carpets by Lena Bergström, hangers by Gustav Hallen, lights by Harri Koskinen, and baskets by Marie-Louise Gustafsson.
