This week in Milan, the design duo TAF Arkitektkontor launched Soft Parcel, its new line of furniture for Spazio Rossana Orlandi.

According to TAF:
What could be the easiest way to upholster a piece of furniture? We took a piece of foam and wrapped it with fabric in the same way you make a parcel. The fabric looks like paper and the product becomes a gift.

The parcels are soft and work as modules to build different comfortable seating possibilities. When the trolley is loaded with parcels it becomes an easy chair.
This is just the latest in a long line of notable releases from Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom, the pair behind TAF.
Some of my other favorites are…

1. “Foto” lamp collection for Zero, 2006
2. “Order” clothes rack for Design House Stockholm, 2005
3. “Bottle” pendant, table and floor lamp for Zero, 2009
