I was worried, very worried, when I saw the mangled array of boxes at the port, but we were lucky! Very few casualties.
And now our independent Swedish designers can be found in shops throughout California. Exciting! Here are some highlights…

Mutt Mugs in blue and a full set of The Family ceramic pots all handmade by Camilla Engdahl. Below that, HAPPYsthlm’s delicate Park pattern on pot holders. Get these lovelies and many others at their new (temporary) home at YOLK Los Angeles. photos: www.fromsthlm.com
A wide range of bright and colorful trays and cutting boards can now be found at Los Angeles’ Plastica. These beauties are Mrs. Murphy. photo: www.fromsthlm.com
You haven’t seen these handmade mugs by Camilla Engdahl in the US before. Now you can find them at OK Store in Los Angeles along with some other attention-grabbing goodies. photo: www.fromsthlm.com
Rare Device in San Francisco went for some black and white alternatives and bright colors alike. This is the first I’ve seen the little ärla bird pot from Camilla Engdahl in all black. The apple tray from Barbro Tryberg Boberg/Formverket works just as well in black & white. photo: www.fromsthlm.com

San Francisco’s Zinc Details has loved Maria Holmer Dahlgren’s trays since stumbling across them in Stockholm. And now they have full supplies on the shelves. Also some more Bantie cushions and other lovely pieces from across our entire range.
If you’ve enjoyed the pictures, you’ll love seeing them in person! Head over to these shops before they sell out there too.
If Los Angeles and San Francisco are still out of reach, tell your favorite local shop to contact us and we’ll see if we can’t bring independent Swedish design a lot closer to you.
