It is their timely, honest commentary on all aspects of contemporary life, combined with a passion for the handcrafted, that make the 4-person design collective’s work so popular.

In 2007 the team won the national DesignTorget “Product of the Year” award for their first series of proverb cross-stitching kits.

Designer David Frimark explains:

“We made our own versions of these old-fashioned, morally correct and very Swedish wall-hangings. The difference is that our patterns address forbidden thoughts. They are inspired by everything from hangovers, gay independence, and bad relationships to the Ricki Lake show.”

All of Fuldesign’s work is sold unfinished in one way or another as a way for the foursome to share their love of all things hand-made.
