Maria started her company, Freemover, before her studies in Architecture and Design in Bangkok were even complete. Rooted firmly in the simple pared-down styles of her Swedish upbringing, she works with wood shapes and textile patterns inspired by nature, architecture, art, and whatever else captures her imagination.

Maria’s goal with Freemover is to create long-lasting timeless design that owes its success to simplicity, using the correct materials and high quality production. All of her designs are made in Sweden.
